You, the consignor, warrants that you are the sole owner of the article(s) being offered to Consignment Furniture and that the article(s) are free of any liens or encumbrances.

PRICE

Consignment Furniture will determine the actual selling price of all item(s). The price will be agreed with the consignor prior to Consignment Furniture offering the item for sale. If, at any time, Consignment Furniture determine that the price of the item(s) should be adjusted the consignor will be consulted prior to any adjustment.

SELLING PERIOD

Your agreement with Consignment Furniture lasts for a period of 60-90 days. In the event that your item(s) do not sell within the first 60 days, Consignment Furniture will discount the goods by 15% for the remaining term of the contract in consultation with the vendor.

CONTRACT EXPIRATION

This agreement will expire at the end of the chosen period ie 60 or 90 days from the consigned date.

SALES COMMISSION

Consignment Furniture will retain 35% of the article(s) sales price as commission less any other additional fees (see addendum 1). These fees, if any, will be discussed with the consignor prior to Consignment Furniture accepting the article(s) for consignment.

PAYMENTS

The consignor will receive 65% of the proceeds of the sale (less any additional fees as per item 2 above) once the consigned article is sold. Payment will be made directly into your nominated bank account within 7 days of the sale of the item(s).

ADDENDUM 1

Any additional fees will be discussed and agreed prior to being incurred by the consignor. All and any fees are deducted by Consignment Furniture prior to payment of the sale proceeds to the consignor.
